Quantitative Financial Analyst sought by UCM Capital Management Inc. in Fort Lee, New Jersey.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain valuations and data using quantitative techniques to support equity researchers (30%);
• Develop statistical and quantitative techniques to evaluate portfolio construction and performance (25%);
• Provide statistical analysis of risk management (20%);
• Maintain and enhance financial analytic and quantitative models in use (10%);
• Monitor news and events for portfolio companies (10%); and
• Attend conferences and meetings with management teams, and roadshow luncheons (5%).
• Travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. approximately 10%, as required. Up to twelve (12) days per year, based out of the New York office.

Position requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in quantitative modeling, quantitative economics, business analytics, statistics, or a closely related field PLUS three (3) years of experience in financial analysis developing quantitative models and risk analytics for regulated financial institutions including banks, insurance companies, and asset managers. Experience must include using Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg, Factset, Eikon, Visible Alpha, SAS.
